Pink guavas tend to be a round fruit approximately 2-3 inches in size with smooth green or yellow edible skin and pink or salmon colored flesh. They have a strong tropical fragrance. Pink guavas tend to be slightly acidic with an assertive flavor. The sweetest guavas will be firm and heavy and the skin will be turning yellow. The skin, flesh and seeds are all edible.
Nutritional Value
Guavas are an excellent source of vitamin C and potassium.Its composition is higher than Orange, Pineapple and Apple.Applications
Pink guavas can be used in both sweet and savory applications due to their acidic nature. Blend and use in sauces for chicken or pork. Chop and use in your favorite salsa. Once sweetened, guava puree can be used to make ice cream, jams, jellies, juices, spritzers and cocktails.
Health

Geography/History
Guavas are part of the myrtle family, which includes familiar spices such as cinnamon, nutmeg and clove. They are native to the subtropical regions of the United States: Hawaii, Florida and Southern California as well as many areas of Asia, South America and South Africa.
